The orbital stability of solitary wave solutions of the generalized symmetric regularizedlongwave equations with two nonlinear items was studied. By using the two precise solitary wave solutions of the given equations, the explicit expression to determine their orbital stability was odtained. Furthermore, several sufficient conditions for the orbital stability of the two solitary wave solutions were provided by corresponding analysis.
