Existing research results of Chingming Festival are concerned usually about the areas of custom、culture、funeral service and local system operation.The paper takes Chingming Festival in Shanghai as a case, reviews its situation and progress and summarizes the characters of the case.The potential relationship between sudden events and Shanghai Chingming Festival system was studied and a set of strategy was also proposed in order to make a systematic management of the Chingming Festival sudden events.
