Abstract:The shearing stress in pavement recycled with foamed asphalt was analyzed by ANSYS finite element software,which concludes that the modulus of base course is one of the key factors which influence the maximum shearing stress in surface course and base course of the pavement recycled with foamed asphalt.The greater the modulus of base course is,the lower the shearing stress in surface course is,and the higher the shearing stress in base course is.When the modulus of base course reaches 2 500 Mpa,the maximum shearing stress in base course is almost equivalent to that in surface course.Thus it’s necessary to consider the shearing strength of cold recycling mixtures of foamed asphalt.
