This contribution describes the probability and advantages of recovering exhaust heat in the level of medium temperature using hot water. A working process of hot water turbine by means of the exhaust heat in the level of medium temperature is briefly introduced. It is shown that a type of combined power generation using primary hot water turbine and base flash steam turbine can increase the thermal efficiency of unit. The design theory within the flow path of hot water turbine is dealt with in detail here, and several problems concerned are also investigated.
