The present paper presents two properties of linear circuits. One is that any one of controlled sources may be replaced with a compound branch which contains source because the form of output character of controlled sources may be transformed equivalently into the form of character of compound branch by transforming the control variable of the controlled source; the other is the concept of branch displacement. According to this concept, any branch in the circuit may be broken or a branch btween the loops may be cleaved into two, the state of the circuit remains unchanged. Mastering the properties of linear circuits mentioned above can increase the ways to be chosen in circuit analyses.
