This paper makes a brief introduction to both international and domestic situations of the development and application of the project managent software, and then, presents a configuration concept to the project information systems. It treats of, in detail, the project management software PMIS2 realized on AM1092 microcomputer, and also a relational database REDBALex developed 1o support PMIS2. Finally, several suggestions are given to the work of information systems development.In appendix, a proof is given to the binary search technique, as to be an optimal one among the sequential searching methods. This technique has come to use in REDBALex.
