This paper tries to pinpoint the frictional drag coefficients of dilute polymer solutions flowing through canvas hoses, obtained by experimental methods. The problem of optimum matching between canvas hoses system and its application to firefighting and additives are dealt with in detail. Finally, the optimum matching formula is presented.
