Abstract:In order to improve the thermal Characteristics of the small-space, complex fin surface condenser and solve the problem of water-plugging while the condenser running in the wetting condition, the present paper introduces a method toform a hydrophilic film on the fin of the highly-efficient surface condenser. The authors expound the relationship between the structure of the fin and its hydrophilic characteristics by the theory of condensation. It is possible, therefore, to develop a compact surface condenser of high efficency.
