The demand for modelling the gas-solid two-phase flow in smoke flue is ever-increasing. However, the present-day modelling approaches are far from satisfactory. On the basis of basic principles and the actual situation of the tail flue of power plant boilers, a solution to the problem is formulated, which might be used to study the gas-solid two-phase flow of similar apparatus.
