The Finite elemnt analysis is used to calculate the heat conductivity of crucible which has influence on temperature field of crystal growth. Longitudinal temperatur egradient in growth region decreases sharply when heat conductivity of crucible become larger than that of crystal. On the contrary, it keeps constant approximately if heat conductivity of crucible become smaller than crystal. The effect of crucible heat conductivity can be neglected when heat transfer coefficient between crucible side and environment remains large enough. It is emphasized that heat conductivity of crucible can be adjusted by heat treatment.
