After making an analysis of a lot of relevant literature and materials published at home and abroad, the author looks briefly at the achievements and current scenes in the area of horizontal flow boiling heat transfer with pure and mixed working fluids, particularly non-azeotropic refrigerant mixtures. A summing-up is given and some suggestions are offered for further exploration of this area.
