This article reviews the structure and features of Harmon's indirect air cooling system. Taking a 600MW air cooled unit as an example, the thermodynamic calculation of air cooled heat exchanger assembly and dry cooling lower has been elucidated. Good agreement is found between the computed results and the existing data.
