This paper deals with thd structure of a newly designed ball bearing at the spindle bottom with a central ball and planetary balls around it. Some structural variants of this bearing are shown in the paper. The selection of the characteristic values is discussed, and the geometrical relation to guarantee pure rolling is offered. Finally, the preliminary experimental results arc given in the paper.
