This paper presents a research on the main factors influncing the drying characteristics of materials by a test on the fingered citron slices,Chinese angelica,asparagus and orange peel.Several semi-theory mathematic drying characteristic models are established.The experimental results provide a reliable basis for the theory calculation and pave the way for the design of material drying equipment to improve the energy utility and running performance.
