in this paper, the authors introduce a new-type micro intelligent printer which uses MCS -48. It consists of INTEL 8039, MC146818 special clock chip,memory, parallel port and MP - 150 printer head. It is used specifically for real-time information handling and recording. The features and structure of its hardware and software are illustrated by an alarm system of fire prevention and guarding against theft.
