The projects of waste heat recovery of electric furnace and flue gas purification in metallurgical industry are very complex. In this paper, the fault tree analysis method is used for reliability analysis and decision of fault spectrum and weak points in the projects.There fore, it plays an important role in design, operation and maintenance.
