The methodology for designing a CMDSS, one of subsystems of MIS used in a foreign enterprise in Shenzhen is presental in the paper. This subsystem is a software whose modelbase and database are derived from operation research and MRPII respectively, and is at present used for supporting cost predication and decision-making in the enterprise.
