In the paper the finite element method to solve coupled Navier Stokes equations of incompressible fluid flow is presented. The method is used upon laminar flow of driven cavity and back step pipe. Results show that the solution has good elliptic feature to predict separated flow. Combining with two layer turbulence algebraic model,the method is developed to simulate incompressible flow within compressor cascades.Results are compared with existing experimental data to validate the effectiveness of the method.
