A new approach of PC image scanning for digital automatic printers(DAP)is proposed.The DAP,being improved as scanning device,has effective characteristics.The basic working principle is introduced at first and then the scheme of the PC image scanning system for DAP and the implementation of its hardware and software are described in detail.
