Based on the integrated relationship between production system and inventory sys-tem, a production-inventory model is developed for deteriorating raw materials and productswith lifetime. The objective is to minimize the average total cost per unit time of operatingthe two systems for determining the economic order quantity (EOQ) and economic productionquantity (EPQ).
