A mechanical model for the body of QA 95 - 630 steel billet cut - off machine is de-veloped. Mesh division and FEA (Finite Element Analysis) are presented by the use of Super-SAP software. It can help designers to make some modifications or redesign the body accord-ing to the analyzing results, such as stress data, equil - stress diagram, displacement data andequil - displacement diagram.
