On the basis of analyzing labour flow by sampling -investigation approach, takingShanghai city as an example, the interrelationships among labour flow, metropolis economicstructure and the effects of spatial diffusion are investigated and internal regularity betweenlabour flow and metropolis economic development is found out, in order to provide reference formetropolis development and population policies.
