It is effective to predict the corrosion resistance of carbon steel treated by surface alloying by use of gray model.It is shown that the application of gray model in the testing and measurement process of metal's corrosion resistance can avoid the aimless ness and enhance the objectivity so as to save manpower,materials,time and cost.
