A scheme of guy cable supporting system is put forward for practical design. On the basis of the load action analysis, a simplified model of plane supporting system is used to analyze the internal forces of the structure. The method of how to determine the value of prestress and how to apply it to structure is also given out. The key points which should be paid attention to in construction and a numerical example are presented in the paper.
