Abstract:This paper focuses on the study of heat transfer enhancement of a confrontingly arranged pair of delta-winglet longitudinal vortex generator(LVG). In the experimental range of Reynolds number, the effect of attack angle, the height and width of wing-let on the heat transfer performance were experimentally investigated, and the best angle of attack was obtained. The results show the aspect ratio can be taken only as a shape factor and the change of height and width can affect the heat transfer effect. Moreover, the performances of three kinds of heat transfer surfaces set by LVG, turbulent pins and low rectangular fins were compared. The results show that the heat performance of heat transfer by LVG is better than that by turbulent pins and low rectangular fins.
