An experimental apparatus of the pool boiling heat transfer was developed and an experimental investigation on the pool boiling of water-lithium bromide solution has been conducted. The experimental results show that the pool boiling heat transfer is affected by pressure. The concentration of the solution has definite effect on pool boiling performance. For the horizontal tubes bundle an enhanced action on the pool boiling heat transfer exists. Heat transfer coefficient of the tube bundle is higher than that of a single tube.
