The major industrial desulfurization installations established in recent ten years and the pollutant exhaust condition following the development of fossil-fired power plants in China are reviewed. Some problems, which should be disposed of or improved, are presented based on the demonstration of a lot of project data and the prospect of desulfurization task is discussed.
