介绍了IPv6的不足，IPv6的发展和特征，阐述了IPv6的演进机制，双协议栈技术，隧道技术，转换技术，详述了几种演进实用工具。

Abstract:

In the article the deficiencies of IPv4 and the characteristics and development of IPv6 are introduced. The transition mechanism of IPv6, the dual stacks tunnel technology, the translation technology and some practical tools for transition are specially expounded.
