Freeze-drying is a relatively new preservation process for the preserved plant material industry. However it is still occasional to use it in making drying flowers. To explore a new type of drying flowers, some experiments are made with freeze-drying method. From the resulted pictures and table, it can be seen that the diameter and color will have only a little change after freeze-drying. The petals of Rosa chinensis and Carnations become to be double resulted. The two kinds of flowers become fat and look pretty. It is a potential drying product.
