After analyzing and studying the technical level and developing demand in the area of underground engineering,both domestic and abroad,the basic structure of the information platform in underground engineering is put forward,and main function of each sub-system is analysed. Realization of underground engineering information platform(UEIP) is expounded step by step for reasonable and feasible considering the complexity of UEIP.
