With the onset of information technology,both agent and Web services are extended toward corporate information systems and business process.The integrated scheme of agent and Web services will definitely enhance the capability of supply chain to optimize the business process and realize value-added by deploying an integrative system.A novel solution is proposed to match supply chain service.Agents are used to promote flexibility and reconfigurability of workflow;Web service is used to provide a mechanism in support of distributed computing to seamlessly link business application with the changing requirements due to the fluctuating demands of customers in the worldwide marketplace.
