Taking the design and reconstruction of a stair well in Shanghai as an example,the application of the static-pressured opening steel pipe pile setup through saturated clay in foundation design is introduced,in the event that the ground is narrow and limited and the foundation is interlaced with other foundations.The expected demands of the schedule design are well achieved.The conclusion provides a reference for design and construction of similar projects.
