In the process of transportation planning,control and management,OD matrix estimate is the important basic data.How to get OD matrix estimate is a hotspot in the transportation research.Based on EMME/2,and having a rational original OD matrix and enough observed volumes of links,by use of gradient approach,OD matrix estimate is obtained.It is suitable for large scale networks in practical applications.
