The response ability of TTCAN network is analysed and the Genetic Algorithm is introduced to schedule and optimize system matrix of TTCAN network. In order to get high performance, some improvements in GA are proposed for this particular problem. A well-known message set which is usually used in automotive industry is adopted to verify the algorithm and positive results are presented with reduced jitter in the network.
