The complex networks theory is applied to research the Shanghai transportation network.The network is defined in three different ways: their notes are described respectively by means of bus stops,bus lines and positions adjacent to bus stops.Such as the notes are the bus stops of Shanghai.The study is assisted by matlab software in order to get topology and some static state geometry quantities such as degree distribution,clustering coefficient,average path length and so on.From these(static) state geometry quantities,the topology character can be educed and the designed functions of the transportation network can be realized.
