An integrated transportation information platform(ITIP) was designed by using extensible marking language(XML) technology as an common data model to integrate the heterogeneously distributed transport information systems,and by using common object request broker architecture(CORBA) technology to implement network communication.The platform realizes the tasks of collection,sharing and exchange of transportation information,and also provides the functions of information release and complementary decision.
