The principle of fingerprint minutiae matching was described.An improved real time fingerprint minutiae matching algorithm was proposed and the performance of the algorithm was studied experimentally.The variation of false match rate(FMR) and false non match rate(FNMR) with threshold,and ROC curve of the algorithm were given.The equal error rate(EER) of the algorithm is 1.8%.The minimal FMR(ZeroFNMR) is 6.8%,and the average matching time is 0.1 s.Experiments done on the fingerprint database FVC2004 show tha...
