Based on the current statistical data of the characteristics of freeway in China,an accurate,convenient and practical OD matrix calculation method for freeway entrances and exits was presented,and the freeway traffic was analysed.Taking advantages of some actual cases,as examples,the feasibility and accuracy of the method proposed were verified by use of the software EMME.This is really a relatively simple OD matrix caculation method and can be applied to the traffic data analysis and processing in actual projects.
