Abstract:The pseudorapidity distribution function of charged particles in nucleonnucleon collisions was presented. By using Glauber model, the mean numbers of participants, spectators in collision area, leading particles and binary nucleonnucleon collisions were calculated. The pseudorapidity distributions of charged particles in nucleusnucleus collisions are obtained. The theoretical results are consistent with those of the experimental observations in AuAu collisions at sNN=130 GeV made by the PHOBOS collaboration.
