Recent researches have shown that the complexity of complex systems mainly comes from the interaction between elements.In natural sciences,the gauge field theory in physics is one of the most successful frameworks which formulate the interaction.Three classic papers on gauge field theory were reviewed and the development of gauge field theory was introduced.Taking the electromagnetic field as an example,it was illustrated how the gauge field theory formulates the interaction.Then based on the above discussion, it is concluded that the gauge field theory can be applied to non physical systems.Four necessary conditions which the application of gauge field theory requires were summarized.
