Abstract:Spring nozzle is widely used in deaerator,however,its atomization performance significantly affects the heat and mass transfer rate.The atomization formed by the spring mozzle was studied.The results show that:the jet at the beginning is a continuous liquid film,then the liquid film breaks into liquid lines and droplets and the cone angle of nozzle spray will gradually increases as the load of the nozzle increases.When the spring nozzle is under rated load,the atomization symmetry is good and the spray droplet size distribution is also fine.As the load increases,the Sauter diameter,minimum diameter and maximum diameter of atomized droplets will gradually increase.
