Abstract:For multi-attribute decision-making problems,in which the values of attributes are trapezoidal intuitionistic fuzzy numbers,a method of TOPSIS multi-attribute decision making based on trapezoidal intuitionistic fuzzy numbers was proposed.A Hamming distance formula for trapezoidal intuitionistic fuzzy numbers was defined.By this Hamming distance formula the distances between each program and the positive ideal-solution as well as the negative ideal-solution of the trapezoidal intuitionistic fuzzy numbers were calculated.The relative closeness to the ideal-solution of alternatives was acquired and the ranking of the alternatives set was conduted by comparing the relative closeness of alternatives.The result of a numerical example further illustrates the practicality and efficiency of the new extended TOPSIS method.
