In order to fit the shape of a dual-curvature glass to a drum surface,an optimization method for the dual-curvature glass parameter model was brought up.Based on the theory of knowledge engineering and the knowledge driving optimization the simulated annealing arithmetic was used to search out the best drum axis position and the optimal drum surface.The fitting precision is thus increased and the error of the optimal drum surface was below 0.4 mm.The theory of drum line was applied to produce the guide curve and the movement of the dual-curvature glass in the regulator was imitated.The error of the movement after optimization is below 0.4 mm and the quality of glass movement is improved.The analysis results show that the optimizing method can meet the needs of the design precision of dual-curvature glasses.
