In the process of designing high-grade hotels, the hotel management companies may usually put forward more requirements than the standard. Besides to comply with the Hotel Designing Paper, the designers also need to consider the hotel management team's comments. In recent years, the building information modeling (BIM) technology in the field of architectural design has been widely used. Taking Hainan Software Park Hotel project as an example, based on the preliminary design drawings provided by design institutes and the requirements of the owner, and through the BIM system modeling, the main application of BIM technology in the hotel design was analyzed in order to optimize the original graphic design, and perform a collision check, comprehensive optimization and adjustment of the pipeline, and check of the roaming and net height. All the study is helpful to set up the electromechanical model components construction standard, improve the construction quality and provide a good management foundation for the safety construction of the project. The practice shows that the application of BIM technology in architectural designs is of great significance.
