Abstract:Considering the circumstances of different carbon taxes, optimal recovery and production strategies for manufacturing/remanufacturing enterprises under supply disruption risk were investigated. The demand is satisfied by manufactures from raw materials coming from primary suppliers and secondary suppliers and also by remanufactures from returned items. The two suppliers charge different prices, the cheaper one has a high probability of the supply disruption of the raw materials.A numerical example was used to verify the validity and credibility of the model by adopting the particle swarm optimization and genetic algorithm.A sensitivity analysis was also tendered to analyze the impact of supply disruption. The results show that the average total cost rises with the increase of supply disruption probability.Besides, the enterprise could arrange reasonably the number of remanufacturing and manufacturing frequency ratio, quality of returned products and carbon taxes to achieve the optimal system outcome.Meanwhile, the government could set the carbon tax reasonably, and achieve win-win with manufacturers ultimately.
