Abstract:In order to explore the damage identification of the pedestrian bridge, the identification method based on the damage flexibility curvature matrix was applied to analyze a pedestrian bridge model and a real engineering bridge. The performance of damage identification index under different working conditions was investigated by numerical simulations on the intact and damage structure of the steel box girder. Then, the method was used in the actual dynamic modal test. Under the circumstance of random environment excitation, a dynamic signal acquisition and analysis system was used to perform dynamic modal tests on the pedestrian bridge. It is found that the index has good damage identification performance for pedestrian bridges. It performs well with high anti-noise ability, high small damage identification ability and good applicable performance on practical engineering projects.
