Abstract:To study the seismic performance of precast concrete frames with precast joints-precast members connected by UHPC, quasi-static tests on a two-story, two-span frame specimen with a scale ratio of 1∶2 were completed. The failure process, hysteresis curve, skeleton curve, displacement ductility, stiffness degradation and energy dissipation capacity of the specimen were analyzed. The test results show that the failure mechanism of the specimen is a mixed failure mechanism, and there are only a few fine cracks in the core area of the joint. The prefabricated frame realizes the design goal of strong column weak beam and strong joint weak member. The specimen has good bearing capacity, displacement deformation ability and energy dissipation ability. The positive and negative extreme displacement angles of the specimen are 1/34 and 1/36 respectively. It meets the requirements of the displacement angle limit for large earthquakes. These demonstrate that this new fabricated frame has good seismic performance.
