The existence of solutions for a class of quasilinear Schrödinger equations of Choquard type was discussed. By the change of variables, the equation was transformed into a semilinear equation. Under appropriate conditions and by means of the mountain pass theorem as well as the variational method, the existence of the solution was proved.
