Abstract:In view of the characteristics and deficiencies of the nonmetal powder modified asphalt of waste printed circuit boards in the practical application of road engineering, the nonmetal powder (NMP) was pretreated with silane coupling agent solution (KH550) of different mass fractions, and then the powder modified asphalt was used. Through the high-temperature performance, low-temperature performance, temperature sensitivity and compatibility of NMP modified asphalt, the reasonable mass fraction of NMP for surface treatment of KH550 was finally obtained as 2%. The surface characteristics of NMP before and after treatment were studied by Fourier transform infrared spectrometer. The results show that the nonmetal powder treated with silane coupling agent can significantly improve the high-temperature performance and storage stability of NMP modified asphalt and reduce the temperature sensitivity, but it has no obvious improvement on the low-temperature performance.
