Abstract:Metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) have received extensive attention in the field of gas adsorption, relying on the characteristic of high porosity, high specific surface area and highly adjustable physichemical sturcture. Its semiconductor-like characteristics attract extensive attention in the field of photocatalysis. The potential applications in both volatile organic compounds (VOCs) adsorption and photocatalysis were introducted and the advantages of MOFs in the removal of indoor low-concentration VOCs were proposed. Based on the classification of modification methods of MOFs, the recent progress in the field of VOCs removal was summarized, including modification of metal nanoparticles, semiconductor composites, conductive material composites and MOFs derivatives.
